MIRIK
Mirik is a stunner and one of the most loved destinations of West Bengal. It is a small town in the district of Darjeeling but quite popular among visitors. It is blessed with a charming and tranquil surroundings, breathtaking landscapes and amazing view of the Himalayan ranges. An altitude of 5800 feet accounts for Mirik’s pleasant weather which has people visiting almost throughout the year. There are a number of tourist spots in and around the town that must be visited.
This is perhaps the most popular tourist spot in the town. The calm and serene Sumendu Lake is extremely picturesque. It has a 80 foot bridge built over it to get a stunning view of the surroundings. Boating, Fish feeding, pony rides are the popular activities people indulge in during their stay at the lake. Evening time visitors may go for shoping as there are verity of foreign shop.
DARJEELING
Darjeeling is one of the beautiful hill stations in India. Darjeeling, still the “Queen of the Hill” is situated at an altitude of 2134 meters. So far known as the best travel destination in the north east state of India. It has magnificent views of snowcapped Kanchanjanga, valleys of small mountains, beautiful tea gardens, variety of green trees with the beautiful people. Darjeeling is considered as popular flowering land of different variety of flower, like rhododendrans, orhids and magnolia etc. Darjeeling Himalayan Rail (DHR) popularly called “Toy Train” is the another jweal of Darjeeling Town is declared as World Heritage by UNESCO by British Crown in 1981. Darjeeling is surrounded by many beautiful spots like Rock Garden, Nightingale Park, HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Tea gardens attached to the town, Rock garden, Beautiful sun rise view from Tiger Hill. Chowrasta is another spot to relax in the evening. KALIMPONG :
Located at a distance of 68.2 km from Siliguri town, Kalimpong is a must visit place during North Bengal Tour. It takes almost 2 hours and 30 minutes from NJP/Bagdogra to reach Kalimpong. Situated at an altitude of 1250 m, Kalimpong Tour offers some of the best views of Himalaya Range with majestic Mt. Kanchenjungha. The major attraction of tourists has been the traditional handicrafts of the place.
SIKKIM
One of the top most tourist destinations in India, Sikkim is also a politically stable and peaceful place in India. This landlocked state is blessed with some of the most spectacular landscapes, flora and fauna making it a haven for adventure enthusiasts and naturalists. Lying at an elevation of 8,586 meters, the state's highest point is the summit of Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak of the world. Sikkim tourism has lots to offer a discerning traveler. Foreigners here can visit Gangtok, Rumtek, Phodong, Pemayangtse and the Yuksom -Zongri trekking route on the basis of restricted area permits which can be obtained. There are numerous Lakes and Monasteries which make the hill station vibrant and lively.

Day 1 - Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Mirik
As you arrive at the Bagdogra’s airport or the NJP Railway Station, prepare yourself for an extraordinary journey.As you ascend try to relax your mind along the winding roads of the mountain and do not miss out the lush tea gardens. Mirik is a tranquil laid back hill station. The central attraction is a lovely lake also known as Sumendu Lake, surrounded by pine trees and a vast park land. There are several view points from where you can witness the lovely sights of Kangchenjunga snow peaks.Other sightseeing and tourists places other than the lake Mirik has several lovely view points to watch sunrise and sunset. Relax your mind at the well known Bokar Monastery surrounded by orange orchards, flower gardens including orchids and more. The lake also offers popular activities like boating, fish feeding, horse riding etc. Spend some quality time with the serene nature at the village, take a walk through lush tea gardens and soak yourself in the views of lush tea mountains around. Mirik offers several affordable and mid priced hotels near the lake.
Day 2 - Transfer to Darjeeling
After having your breakfast, start driving to Darjeeling, “Queen of the Hills” via Indo-Nepal border – Simana, you can view trek route to Sandukphu & Nepal and a beautiful view of mountains, thick green pine forest and world famous tea garderns. After half an hour drive from Simana another spot is Pashupati Market which is in Nepal, famous for imported clothes and cosmetics from Thailand. And then you will be driving to Darjeeling via Lepcha Jagat- land of Lepchas village (local People)- most visited tourist spot to relax in the cool, greenery forest and ofcourse hills and mountains. Ghoom Railways station declared as world Heritage by UNESCO , Dali Buddhist Monastery one of the oldest Monastery in Darjeeling, Batasia loop from where the toy train passes 360 degree circular track, from Batasia Loop one can get panoramic view of Darjeeling town and Kanchenjunga and other mountains in the back drop. Drop to the hotel, relax and enjoy the world famous tourist spot “DARJEELING”, overnight stay in hotel.
Day 3 - Darjeeling Full day Sightseen
Early morning start for Tiger Hill (subject to availability of pass) to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day mixed point local sightseeing covering RopeWay, Tenzing rock, Gombu Rock, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 - Transfer to Kalimpong
This early morning, have your breakfast and then take a transfer to Kalimpong (49 km). A popular tourist destination in West Bengal, Kalimpong is a small hill station, known for its tranquility and scenic beauty. Kalimpong is a great destination for those who wish to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some time in peace. Set at an elevation of 1247 meter, Kalimpong offers spectacular view of the Himalayas and a green ambience to all the visitors. The place is a paradise for nature lovers because of its flower markets and horticulture. On reaching Kalimpong, check-in to the hotel. Later, leave for a sightseeing tour around Kalimpong and visit its major attractions like Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr Graham Homes, Durpin Monastery, Mangaldham and Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only). One of the major tourist attractions of Kalimpong, Deolo Hill is the highest point of Kalimpong. Deolo Hill is set amid a picture perfect landscape which makes it an ideal picnic spot. There is a beautiful garden with colorful flowers, which adds to the experience of visiting this attraction. After your sightseeing tour, head back to the hotel. In the evening, go for walk around the flowers markets of the place and interact with the locals.

Day 5 - Transfer from Kalimpong to Gangtok
After having tea and breakfast heading towards to the Capital city of Sikkim "Gangtok". One of the famous tourist destination in India. Lunch on the way at the road side hotel, and then heading to Gangtok through windy road and mountains, valley and rivers. Check in the hotel. Take rest and freshen up, in the evening visitors can visit MG marg, the tourist hub of Gangtok. Smoke and vehicle free boulevard square with shops and restaurants lined up on both sides. A great place to siton a bench and feel the carnival like ambience, walk down to Lal Bazar for more shops. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 6 - Gangtok full day sightseen
After the early breakfast, your full day sightseen tour will start with cool and amazing view of Gangtok town. As per your tour itinerary, today you will be visiting- Hanuman tok-This immaculate and a divine place located in the upper reaches of Gangtok, Hanuman Tok is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the Hindu monkey God. It is a temple complex that is swarmed by devotees from all over the country. The Bakthang Waterfalls is a natural cascade that runs down to form a pool and the Tashi viewpoint provides its visitors with some sweeping views of the gigantic Kanchenjunga mountain ranges. Next, head to the Ganesh Tok and Enchey Monastery. Ganesh Tok is a quaint Hindu temple with an all-encompassing hilltop view. The monastery houses around 90 monks and is believed to be blessed by Druptob Karpo, the respected tantric master. Then, visit the Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom and head to the Drul Chorten Stupa. The solitary aim of Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom is to preserve and safeguard the art and craft of the people in Gangtok. The stupa, on another hand, is marked by a golden top dome and was once haunted by evil spirits. Then, head to the Institute of Tibetology where you can enjoy the views as well as gain knowledge on the models and mores of the Mahayana Buddhism and the Tibetans. Enjoy some time at the flower museum and behold the sights of some unique flora and fauna before hopping on the ropeway to the Banjhakri Falls. It is well known for the breath-taking marvels and a pleasant ambience.
Back to the hotel after full day sightseen, take good rest and evening time can be spent in strolling to the public favorite place MG Marg where tourist from different corner of the world can be seen siting in the bench enjoying the cool and pleasant weather and scenic beauty of the place.
Day 7 - Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
Start driving to the Tsomgo Lake that is located at a height of 12,400 feet. After a 3-hour drive, you will reach this glacial lake that is admired as highly sacred and enormously revered by the Buddhists and Hindu locals. Do not miss out on the glut of flowers in bloom if spring is the season during your visit in Gangtok.
Then, drive towards the Baba Harbhajan Mandir that is also set at a massive height of 13,200 feet. He served in the Indian armed forces and is revered as the “Hero of Nathula” since it is believed that his spirit still guards the area.
Back to the Hotel and take rest after a long journey... Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 8 - Back to Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP)
After breakfast transfer to Siliguri. One will travel through the best Tea estate of the world – Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush.
This is how the beautiful journey of Darjeeling & Mirik will end with unforgettable memories.
