DARJEELING

Darjeeling is one of the beautiful hill stations in India. Darjeeling, still the “Queen of the Hill” is situated at an altitude of 2134 meters. SANDUKPHU

Sandukpur is one of the best trekking destination for the trekkers. It is located at a altitude of 11,929 ft. that is 3636 meters in the district of Darjeeling. This is the highest Peak in the Singalila Range as well as in West Bengal, India. The route of Sandukpur trek goes all along the singalila range so that sandukpur trek route also known as Singilala Trek. Sandukpur is the most famous trekking destination because of its location from where one can see the highest peak of the world namely Mt. Everest, Kanchanjanga, Makalu, Three Sisters and many other peaks and Nepal and Sikkim. On the other hand the trekkers will also enjoy the forest flowering Rododendren of various type, different types of flower. The trek route passes through the Singalila National Park so the trekkers journey further complemented with a National Park which has some of the fascinating rare animals like red pandas, variety of birds and animals. Package Itenary

Day 1 - Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Darjeeling.

As you arrive at the Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), prepare yourself for an extraordinary journey, our representative will guide you all the way to Darjeeling. As you ascend try to relax your mind along the windy roads of the mountain and tea gardens. After the drive of 3 hours approx. you will reach your destination Darjeeling. Check in your hotel, have your lunch and after freshening up, let’s go to Chowrasta. Sit on a pheripral bench for a while, relax and enjoy the beauty of the place. Then take a stroll along the scenic Mall Road, Bhanu Bhawan and a complete circle. If you reach early morning then you can visit Mahakal Mindir (temple) which is a secret place of Hindus. Later in the evening one can go shopping in the market, as Darjeeling market has different variety of shops like Tea Shop, Garments shop, Curio shop, Souvenir, sports shop, many hotels with the different variety of foods. Over night stay in Hotel.

Day 2 - Darjeeling whole day sightseen

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day mixed point local sightseeing covering RopeWay, Tenzing rock, Gombu Rock, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 - Darjeeling to Sandukphu

After having delicious breakfast heading to Maneybhanjyang in cool and windy road with a beautiful hills and mountains covered wiih a thick green pine forest, flowers, town and villages. After reaching to Maneybhanjyang our representative will transfer you to Land Rover- 70-year-old Land Rover from the British Period that still runs over the winding road from Manebhanjan to Sandakphu; this is how your Sandakphu Land Rover Safari gets started. No other vehicle is allowed to travel this full boulder track, which has curving sections and steep, uneven terrain. Only these four-wheelers are permitted. The obnoxious Rover makes its way through eerie green forests filled with vibrant rhododendron and thick, shrouding mist, with a 180-degree view of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Everest, and several Himalayan peaks.

The greatest way to combat the chill when dusk falls and the temperature begins to drop is to curl up with a hot beverage and a warm blanket while gazing out the window at Mt. Kanchenjunga, which sparkles as though it were illuminated by thousands of tiny lights. In Sandakphu, spend the night in a hotel.

Day 4 - Sandukphu-Phalut to Tumling

The next day, we will again start our journey early morning and witness the unforgettable sunrise on the Majestic Everest - Kangchenjunga Range from the nearest viewpoint.

This will give you the chance to have a spectacular view of four 8000 meter peaks and many 7000-6000 meter peaks, the Himalayan part of Bhutan – Nepal and Singalila ridge. With some luck on your side, you might even get to see the very famous "Sea of clouds".

After finishing our breakfast, we will start our day’s journey toward the main attraction of our Sandakphu land rover package tour. On this day, we will travel 21 kilometers on Landrover and reach Phalut. On our way, we will do Sandakphu sightseeing and visit places like Sabargram, Molle, and the Phalut Route Pass through the Singalila ridge.

This ride will allow you to enjoy the wide valley and Kangchenjunga range all along the route. We will take a halt near the Molle forest check post, where you can take some rest and have warm, tasty tea to unwind.

We will be spending an hour at Phalut, and we are more than sure that this one-hour at Phalut will be one of your most amazing experiences that you will cherish forever. Being the second highest peak in West Bengal, elevation of Phalut is 3,595 meter or 11,811 feet. At one edge of Phalut, you will see West Bengal, on the other edge it is the beautiful Sikkim, and third edge is close to Nepal. The natural beauty of Phalut will indeed mesmerize you.

After capturing a lifetime experience at Phalut, we will make a trip back to Tumling via Sandakphu by late noon.You can check back in your hotel in Tumling, take some rest and enjoy the sunset later at the magnificent Kangchenjunga and many more snow-covered peaks.

We will stay at Tumling for the night.

Day 5 - Tumlig to Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP)

Wake up in early moring to enjoy bed tea with a beautiful view of Tumling, pack up your travel bags to say good bye to the beautiful journey to Sandukphu Land Rover Savari Tour. Take your breakfast and get ready as our driver is ready to drop you to your destination i.e. Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP).
