SANDUKPHU
Sandukphu is one of the best trekking destination for the trekkers. It is located at a altitude of 11,929 ft. that is 3636 meters in the district of Darjeeling. This is the highest Peak in the Singalila Range as well as in West Bengal, India. The route of Sandukpur trek goes all along the singalila range so that sandukpur trek route also known as Singilala Trek. Sandukpur is the most famous trekking destination because of its location from where one can see the highest peak of the world namely Mt. Everest, Kanchanjanga, Makalu, Three Sisters and many other peaks and Nepal and Sikkim. On the other hand the trekkers will also enjoy the forest flowering Rododendren of various type, different types of flower. The trek route passes through the Singalila National Park so the trekkers journey further complemented with a National Park which has some of the fascinating rare animals like red pandas, variety of birds and animals. This trek route is rich with natural flora and funa, singilala trek route is also considered as most important herb zone in the world.

Package Itenary
Day 1 - SILIGURI TO TUMLING
On your arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP), our representative will receive you and comfortably drive to Tumling, From the beginning of the trek, the road is almost stiff and seems to throw the challenge to the trekkers. But once habituated the road has become most friendly offers the view of spell bound natural beauty and gradually climbs up through forests of rhododendron, giant magnolias, spruce and other trees of sub-alpine region and not to mention, more than 600 varieties of orchids – the largest to be found in one geographical area in the world. After 03 kms from Maneybhanjan there is a short break in Chitrey. From Chitrey the road goes to Meghma, which lies under the cloud cover and where the clouds are worshipped as mother deity. The main road bifurcates from Megham and one leads to Tumling ( Nepal) and the another to Tonglu ( India). Both the road pass through the dense jungle and hill sides covered by wild flowers. From Tonglu the view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and its surrounding snow capped hills are fully mesmerizing.
Day 2 - TUMLING TO SANDUKPU
After a healthy breakfast your second day trekking will starts from Tumling via different hills to Sandukpu which is 19.5 km trek.. One can enjoy amazing views of thick green forest and the hills of Singhalila National Park. Sandukpu is the heightest peak in West Bengal, India from where you can see the Wrold’s heighest Peak, Mt. Everest, Kanchanjanga, Three Sisters and many more. Morning sun shine is the most important part of Sandukpu trek. Overnight stay in a Hotel in a very pleasant weather, enjoy local food and drinks with the friendly people.
Day 3 - SANDUKPHU TO PHALUT
Wake up early in the morning for a rare and beautiful view of the mountains around. After watching one of the most stunning sunrise on Mt. Kanchenjunga from Sandakphu in the very early morning it is time to proceed towards Phalut. Distance bwtewwn Sandukphu tp Phalut is 21 km. The trail leads along with a ridge on Singalila Range and considered one of the most beautiful trek routes in Eastern Himalayas. Burned silver fir forest and colourful rhododendron trees decorate the route and to offer a beautiful sight. Omnipresence of towering Kanchenjunga and glimpses of Mt. Everest are mesmerizing. There are some ups and downs throughout the route, but not very hard to cross those hurdles.
Day 4 - PHALUT TO GOKHEY
After your breakfast, you will be heading to Gorkhey which is 15 km downhill. This trek route leads downward through the dense virgin forest of Chestnut, Pine and Hemlock and reaches to the meeting point of the two wild stream, overnight stay in the Home Stay in Gorkhey.
Day 5 - GORKHEY TO RIMBICK
Gorkhey is a small village with a lovley and friendly people,and the trek route of Singilla National Park. After having your tea and breakfast you will be heading to Rimbick, small but a beautiful market, Over night stay at Hotel or Home stay with the pleasent weather.
Day 6 - RIMBICK TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (IXM)/ NEW JAPLAIGURI (NJP)
After an early tea, check out the hotel rooms and the driver will drive through windy roads to your way back to home. Breakfast at Dothery or at Mirik and move to Bagdogra Airport or Njp. This is where your journey with Luneva Expedition will come to an end.
